Austintown Gun Supply (“AGS,” “we,” “us”) is a federally licensed firearms dealer located in Ohio. We take safety, lawful commerce, and responsible ownership seriously.

1) No Online Firearm Sales (Inquiry-Only)

Our website may display firearms and firearm-related items for informational purposes. Firearms are not sold online. Any “Request Availability,” “Inquiry,” or similar submission:

• does not constitute a purchase, order, or reservation,

• does not guarantee availability, and

• is used only to help us confirm current inventory and next steps.

All firearm transactions are completed in-store in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

You will be required to present valid identification and complete all required forms and procedures before any firearm transfer.

3) Age & Eligibility

You must be legally eligible to purchase and possess firearms and ammunition under federal law and Ohio law, as well as any applicable local requirements.

AGS may refuse a sale or transfer if:

• we cannot verify identity or eligibility,

• required documentation is incomplete,

• the transaction appears unlawful, unsafe, or suspicious, or

• any legal requirement is not met.

4) Background Checks & Required Paperwork

All firearm transfers are subject to required background check procedures and paperwork, including (as applicable):

• completion of required federal forms (e.g., ATF Form 4473),

• background check processing through the appropriate system(s),

• any waiting periods or additional requirements if applicable.

A background check approval is not guaranteed. If a background check is delayed or denied, the firearm will not be transferred.

Background checks at AGS are free.

5) Prohibited Persons

Federal law prohibits certain individuals from purchasing or possessing firearms and/or ammunition. This may include (not an exhaustive list) individuals who are:

• convicted of certain crimes,

• subject to certain restraining/protection orders,

• adjudicated as mentally defective or committed to a mental institution (as defined by law),

• unlawful users of or addicted to controlled substances,

• otherwise prohibited under federal or state law.

If you are unsure about your status, do not attempt to purchase. You may contact us for general process questions and consult an attorney or the appropriate agency for legal guidance.

6) Straw Purchases (Strictly Prohibited)

Straw purchases are illegal. Do not attempt to buy a firearm for someone else who is prohibited, who cannot pass a background check, or who is the true intended owner when you are acting as a “stand-in” purchaser.

AGS will not complete any transaction that appears to be a straw purchase or otherwise unlawful.

7) Inventory, Listings, and Pricing Disclaimers

• Inventory changes frequently and may sell in-store before we can update the website.

• Website listings may contain errors or omissions.

• Photos may be representative and may not reflect the exact item currently available.

• Any pricing shown (if any) is subject to change and may differ from in-store pricing.

8) FFL Transfers (Incoming Transfers)

AGS offers FFL transfers where legally permitted.

• FFL Transfer Fee: $30 per firearm transfer

• Transfers are completed in accordance with federal, state, and local law.

• The transferee must appear in person, present valid identification, complete required paperwork, and pass any required background check before any transfer is completed.

• If a background check is delayed or denied, the firearm will not be transferred.

9) Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Firearms and regulated items are subject to strict handling and legal requirements. Return eligibility may vary by product type and condition.

10) Ammunition & Accessories

Ammunition and accessories may be subject to age restrictions and other legal requirements. AGS may require ID verification for certain products and may refuse sales where required by law or store policy.

When you submit an inquiry through our website, we may collect information such as:
